Course Introduction

The Skills & Practices of Insurance Advisors course introduces students to the practices in insurance offices. This course is designed to provide an overview of the different career options within the insurance industry, and processes used in completing insurance transactions. Students learn about the different processes that are specific to the insurance industry. This will enable students to apply their technical knowledge to real insurance situations through role-playing. Practice exercises and questions are included to reinforce the concepts covered and to help students measure their progress.


Course Prerequisites

Fundamentals of Insurance.

Course Notes

Course manual is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
